Birthday......
Today is my nephew/godson's 5th birthday. So being the greatest aunt ever I buy him exactly what he wants......a frog. A fire belly toad to be exact. So I get the frog terrarium and then head to the pet store for some tadpoles.....needless to say they don't sell just tadpoles. So goes my adventure of picking out a frog for him. When I finally choose one I have to fill out all this paperwork to buy him. Almost like I am adopting him. Anyways....after the frog, crickets, cricket dust, and whatever else I needed to finish the purchase of the terrarium....I am ready to bring it to my nephew. I get to the house and my other nephew and niece don't even let me get in the front door before they have ripped open the bags and are already excited to see that they have a new "pet" to add to their collection. Too make a long story short.....my sister freaked out and asked if she would need to feed it and clean out the pen. "What do you think?" I asked her sarcasticlly......She doesn't do well with bugs, reptiles, or pretty much anything if it's not a cat or dog. But my brother-in-law saved the day and was totally willing to oblige. Word to the wise...make sure you bring your i.d. to purchase these "rare" and scarce frogs! Lol! :)39 days down......only 306 days to go!
